What are Credits?

Vendo uses a credit system to track your usage. Credits are based on the volume of data processed and are applied to your subscription for billing purposes.


During Onboarding

During onboarding, we begin connecting and syncing your data sources so you can start generating insights.

  • Credits are not pushed during the onboarding period.

  • We wait until your setup is complete and your first official sync is successful before billing begins.

  • Any data used to validate or test your setup will not count toward your usage.

Once onboarding is complete, credits will be calculated and pushed on a daily schedule.


When are Credits Counted?

We calculate credits daily based on your activity. Each day reflects your usage for the previous day’s data processing.

  • Run Time: Data is processed around 5:00 AM (local time of destination Mixpanel project).

  • Credit Push: We push the credit usage to your subscription at 6:00 AM.

  • Coverage: The credits reflect data processed for T-2 (two days prior).
    (Example: On March 31st, your usage is pushed for March 29th.)


Where Can I See My Credits?

You can view your usage within your Vendo account or in your Stripe billing portal. Each entry will be listed by date and number of credits consumed.

Q: Do I get billed during onboarding?

No – we do not push credits during onboarding. You will only begin accruing billed usage once your setup is complete and your first successful data sync is confirmed.

Q: Why are credits delayed by 2 days?

To ensure complete and accurate data processing, we finalize credit usage after the full job has completed and been verified. This process includes checks for data quality and completeness.

Q: Can I see a breakdown of where credits are being used?

Yes – we’re working on providing a detailed usage breakdown inside the Vendo dashboard. For now, reach out to our support team for a full usage report.

Q: What happens if a job fails or data is incomplete?

If a data job fails or is incomplete, we don’t push credits for that day. We only bill for successful, complete processing.

Q: Can I get alerted when my usage changes?

We’re working on alerting features! In the meantime, you can set thresholds or receive manual reports through our support team.
