Customer.io Source
Source status - Customer.io is cataloged as a messaging platform with inbound event, user, and group data, but Customer.io source import is not enabled in the current self-serve setup flow.
Customer.io is available today as a destination for events, profile updates, and group/object updates.

The product catalog includes Customer.io source capability, and source option labels exist for events, customers, and campaigns. The current setup contract and pipeline staging tree do not expose a Customer.io source connector end to end, so customers should treat inbound Customer.io import as managed/not yet self-serve.

Customer.io data can contain PII such as email addresses, phone numbers, names, and custom traits. Any managed import should be scoped to the minimum data required for reporting or downstream workflows.
Credentials
Customer.io destination setup uses Track API credentials. A future source setup may require different credentials depending on the Customer.io API used.

Setup
Customer.io source setup is currently managed by the Vendo team.
- Contact Vendo support with the Customer.io workspace and data you want to import
- Confirm the inbound streams required: events, customers, campaigns, and/or groups
- Confirm the credential handoff method and data-minimization scope
- Vendo validates whether the source connector is available for your account
