Notifications
Configure in-app and Slack notifications, event preferences, quiet hours, and beta subscriptions for the active team workspace.

Notification preferences are personal to your user within the active team workspace. Open Workspace Settings → Notifications.
Channel availability
| Channel | Current behavior |
|---|---|
| In-app | Always enabled in the Vendo dashboard |
| Slack | Available after a workspace and channel are connected |
| Shown as coming soon; not currently selectable | |
| Push | Shown as coming soon; not currently selectable |
Do not rely on a disabled channel even if an event definition contains a default preference for it.
Event preferences
The settings matrix groups events by source, job, integration, billing, announcement, and supported product-specific categories. Enable the available channel for each event you want to receive.
Common high-signal events include:
- Source authentication or connectivity failure.
- Failed or stalled jobs.
- Integration sync failure or disconnection.
- Billing and quota alerts when enabled for the workspace.
- Scheduled maintenance or beta invitations.
The settings screen is the live list; event types can be added as Vendo expands notification coverage.
Connect Slack
- Open Workspace Settings → Notifications.
- Select Connect beside Slack.
- Authorize the Vendo app in the intended Slack workspace.
- Select the destination channel.
- Enable Slack for the event types you want.
- Save preferences and trigger a safe test event if available.
You can disable Slack without removing the connection, or disconnect it to remove the stored workspace/channel configuration.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours store a start time, end time, and timezone for suppressible channels. In-app notifications remain available. Because email and push are not currently selectable, quiet hours primarily affect supported external delivery such as Slack.
Beta subscriptions
The Notifications page also contains Subscriptions, where the workspace can opt into supported beta features. A beta opt-in changes feature availability; it does not turn an experimental feature into a general-availability contract.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Check |
|---|---|
| Slack does not connect | Correct Slack workspace, OAuth permission, and browser popup/redirect |
| Slack is connected but silent | Slack enabled toggle, channel, event preference, and quiet hours |
| Channel is disabled | Whether it is marked coming soon in the current UI |
| Wrong team receives a message | Active Vendo workspace and connected Slack workspace/channel |
