Apps
Manage workspace-scoped platform credentials, capabilities, configuration, and app lifecycle.

Apps are workspace-scoped platform connections. A single app can supply source, destination, or other capabilities to more than one Source or Destination.
Open Data → Integrations → Apps.
What an App Owns
- The platform type and display name
- OAuth or credential configuration
- Granted capability permissions
- Provider account metadata, where available
- Lifecycle state
- The Sources and Destinations that refer to it
AI provider configuration is managed separately under Workspace Settings → AI Models.
The Apps List
The view filter above the table has these options:

The table columns include:
- Direction: Source, Destination or both. An app with neither shows No capabilities.
- Usage: the number of Sources and Destinations that use the app. If an enabled app has none, the cell shows No source configured or No destination configured. Select it to add one.
An app that needs attention shows a Reconnect or Fix connection button in its row. The row menu of a paused app has Resume. The row menu of a draft app has Resume Draft.
Add an App
- Select Add App.
- Choose a platform from the current runtime catalog.
- Review the capabilities and permissions in scope.
- Complete OAuth or enter the required credentials.
- Validate the connection.
- Save the connection.
The add flow does not ask for a provider account. For a platform with more than one account, you select the account when you add a Source. If an app has no account, its app page can show an account selector.
Saving an app does not automatically create every possible data flow. Configure the required Source or Destination afterward.
Request access
Some apps need access from the Vendo team before you can connect them. For these apps, the app panel shows Request Access instead of the connect button. Request Access opens a chat message to the Vendo team. If chat is not available, it opens an email to support@vendodata.com.
If you cannot find a platform, use the request link below the catalog.
Leave the add flow
If you select Cancel after you start to set up an app, Vendo asks Save draft before exiting?
- Save draft: if you chose a platform, Vendo saves your progress as a draft app. It also keeps a copy in this browser, without the credentials.
- Discard draft: closes the add flow and clears the copy in this browser. A draft app that you saved before stays in the Apps list.
- Continue editing: returns to the add flow.
To continue a draft, open the draft app in the Apps list.
App Status
An incomplete app can remain a draft and return to the add-app flow. The Status column in the Apps table shows Draft for an incomplete app and Paused for a paused app. For all other apps, it shows the App access status from the latest provider connection check:
- Connected
- Disconnected
- Reconnect Required
- Not checked or Connection check unavailable
Source and Destination health must still be checked from the app detail and related jobs. The access status is not proof that a recent sync succeeded.
Manage an App
The app page has a status button at the top. Select it to open the app management menu. An action that is not available for an app is disabled, and the menu can show the reason.

| Resume app | Checks the saved credentials, then enables the app again. Linked Sources and Destinations stay paused. |
| Disconnect | Removes the saved login. Pauses every linked Source and Destination and cancels their active syncs. Keeps data and configuration. |
| Reconnect | Shows when the app is disconnected or needs action. Starts OAuth again, or opens Manage credentials for a credential-based app. |
Caution: Pause app and Disconnect stop the syncs of every linked Source and Destination. To start them again, resume the app, then resume each Source and Destination.
To pause or disconnect an app:
- Open the app.
- Select the status button at the top of the page.
- Select Pause app or Disconnect.
- If you selected Disconnect, confirm in the dialog.
If Vendo cannot verify the credentials, Resume app fails. Reconnect the app, then resume it.
Test connection
The account section of the app page has a Test connection button for platforms that support a live test. It checks the saved credentials with the provider. The result is Connection test passed or Connection test failed. For a platform without a live test, the result says that the platform has no live connection test yet.
Permissions
Changes to permissions save automatically. When you change a permission, the section shows Saving… and then Saved. An app must keep at least one data permission. If Vendo cannot confirm the save, it shows the previous settings and a Reload permissions link.
Update Credentials
Open the app. For an OAuth app, use Reconnect. For a credential-based app, expand Manage credentials and edit the credentials. After any update:
- Validate the connection.
- Run a narrow source or destination test.
- Inspect Activity Logs.
- Verify the provider-side result.
Do not assume that paused or failed Sources and Destinations resume only because the credentials were saved.
Delete Safely
Before deleting an app, identify every source, destination, model, automation, and schedule that depends on it. Confirm the intended data-retention behavior for each related source.
Warning: You cannot undo an app deletion. Delete only after those consumers are removed or migrated.
