Reports

Vendo’s Reports feature gives you structured views of your advertising performance with per-platform breakdowns, cross-channel comparisons, and automated periodic reports delivered to your team.

You can find Reports under Insights in the sidebar (Reports appears as Insights in the navigation).

Overview

The Reports section has three tabs:

TabPurpose
Ad InsightsPer-platform performance metrics broken down by dimension
Cross ChannelUnified view comparing metrics across all connected platforms
Periodic ReportsScheduled reports delivered via email on a recurring cadence

Ad Insights

Ad Insights provides detailed performance data for individual ad platforms.

Dimensions

You can break down metrics by:

DimensionDescription
DayDaily performance over time
CampaignPerformance grouped by campaign
Ad GroupPerformance grouped by ad group
PlatformAggregated view per platform

Metrics

The following metrics are available for each dimension:

MetricDescription
ImpressionsNumber of times ads were shown
ClicksNumber of ad clicks
CostTotal spend
ConversionsNumber of conversion events
Conversion ValueTotal revenue from conversions
CTRClick-through rate (clicks / impressions)
CPCCost per click (cost / clicks)
ROASReturn on ad spend (conversion value / cost)

Date Range and Comparison

Select a date range for your report. Vendo automatically calculates a comparison to the equivalent previous period (e.g., selecting the last 7 days compares against the 7 days before that), showing percentage changes for each metric.

Cross Channel Reports

The Cross Channel tab provides a unified view of performance across all connected ad platforms.

This view uses the same metrics as Ad Insights but displays them side by side for each platform, making it easy to compare efficiency and identify which platforms are delivering the best results for your spend.

Key features:

  • Side-by-side comparison of all connected platforms
  • Same metric set as Ad Insights (impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, conversion value, CTR, CPC, ROAS)
  • Date range selection with previous-period comparison
  • Sortable columns to rank platforms by any metric

AI Commentary

When enabled on a periodic report, AI Commentary adds a narrative analysis section to the report. The AI reviews the metrics and highlights:

  • Notable trends — Significant increases or decreases in key metrics
  • Platform comparisons — Which platforms outperformed or underperformed
  • Anomalies — Unusual patterns that may warrant attention
  • Actionable suggestions — Brief recommendations based on the data

AI Commentary is generated using the same data included in the report and is included inline in the email delivery.
