Open Insights from the sidebar. The underlying route and page heading use Reports, but Insights is the current navigation label for the workspace.
What you can do
| Area | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Dashboards | Open and manage reusable multi-chart views |
| Charts | Create focused visualizations from available data |
| Periodic Reports | Review scheduled reports with AI commentary |
| Saved Reports | Reopen saved and live report outputs |
| Templates | Start with Marketing Overview, Ad Insights, or another available template |
The templates shown in the app are the live source of truth; availability depends on connected platforms and enabled features.
Create a report
- Open Insights.
- Select New Report or choose a template.
- Confirm the data source, metric definitions, dimensions, and date range.
- Build the required charts or table.
- Compare a sample value with the source system or SQL Editor.
- Save the report with a name that states its audience and purpose.
Dashboards and charts
Use dashboards when readers need several related views. Use a chart when one question can be answered by one visual.
Before saving, check:
- Metric definition and denominator.
- Date field, timezone, and comparison period.
- Currency and refund treatment.
- Platform and campaign filters.
- Whether demo data or incomplete sources are present.
Periodic reports
Periodic reports are generated from the workspace’s report configuration and saved as report records. When a schedule is active, the Periodic Reports tab shows its cadence and run history.
A generated report can include narrative commentary. Treat the commentary as an interpretation of the included metrics: verify surprising claims against the supporting data before acting.
Saved reports
Saved Reports combines reusable report definitions and supported live reports. Status indicates whether a generated report is pending, complete, or failed. Open a failed report or related activity record before rerunning it.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Check |
|---|---|
| No platform data | Source status, ad-data tables, date range, and platform filter |
| Metric differs from an ad platform | Currency, timezone, attribution window, conversion definition, and API delay |
| Report is empty | Required source/model output and selected dimensions |
| Periodic report failed | Saved configuration, AI model availability, and related job error |
