Braze
Custom destination - Vendo can support Braze as a managed destination when a customer needs it. Braze is not currently available as a self-serve destination setup.
What Vendo Can Send
For managed Braze implementations, Vendo can send:
| Data Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Custom Events | Behavioral events sent through Braze’s /users/track endpoint |
| User Profiles | Customer attributes synced to Braze user profiles |
| Purchase Events | Revenue events with product, price, and currency data |
Authentication
Braze uses a REST API key and REST endpoint URL.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| REST API Key | Created in Braze under Settings > API Keys with the required permissions |
| REST Endpoint URL | Your Braze instance hostname, such as rest.iad-01.braze.com |
Setup
Braze setup is currently managed by the Vendo team.
To enable it, share:
- Braze REST endpoint hostname
- Required event and profile fields
- Destination mapping requirements
- Expected sync cadence
Verify Setup
After setup:
- Trigger or sync a small test event.
- Check Braze User Search for the event or profile update.
- Review Vendo job logs for delivery counts and errors.
- Confirm mapped fields match the expected Braze event and profile schema.
