UTM Parameters

Vendo extracts UTM parameters from tracking templates and custom parameters. The tracking template hierarchy is: Ad → Ad Group → Campaign (the most specific template wins).

Conversion Export

Vendo can export offline conversions back to Microsoft Ads with the msclkid (Microsoft Click ID). For the configuration, see Export Conversions.

Currency Conversion

Vendo automatically converts ad spend from your Microsoft Ads account currency to your reporting currency. It uses daily exchange rates.

Data Freshness & Backfill

Vendo imports daily performance rows on the schedule that is set on the Source. If you request a Historical backfill, Vendo imports the selected historical window during onboarding.

Setup

  1. Authorize your Microsoft Ads account with OAuth2.
  2. Select the ad account(s) to sync.
  3. Set the reporting currency and timezone.
  4. For conversion tracking, create a conversion goal in Microsoft Ads.

Verify Setup

  1. Make sure that the status of the Microsoft Ads Source is active in Vendo.
  2. Make sure that ad metrics show in your Destination or BigQuery export.
  3. For conversion exports, look for recent conversions in Microsoft Ads.
