How to find your Amplitude API Key and Secret Key to connect Amplitude as a destination in Vendo.

This guide shows how to find your Amplitude API Key and Secret Key. You need them to connect Amplitude as a destination in Vendo.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to amplitude.com and sign in to your account.
- Click the gear icon, or go to Settings in the bottom-left corner.
- Under Projects, click the project that you want to connect to Vendo.
- On the project settings page, scroll to the General section.
- Copy the API Key. Amplitude shows it in plain text.
- Copy the Secret Key. It is below the API Key.
Data Center Region
Amplitude has two data center regions. Select the region that matches your Amplitude project:

| EU | European data center for EU data residency requirements |
You can see the data center of your project in Settings > Organization Settings > Data Center.
Important: You need the API Key, the Secret Key, and the correct data center region to set up the Amplitude destination in Vendo. If you use the wrong region, you get authentication errors.
Permissions
The API Key and Secret Key pair gives full read and write access to the project. Make sure that you copy the credentials from the correct project.
