Source: Vendo imports organic content and performance from selected Facebook Pages and linked Instagram professional accounts.

This Source is separate from Meta Ads. It does not import paid campaign data.

What Vendo Syncs

Facebook Page Posts

Vendo imports these fields for each published Page post:

• Post text, type, publish date and public link
• Attached links and UTM parameters
• Images and carousel images
• Reactions, comments and shares
• Views, reach, clicks and video views when Meta provides them

The comments value is a count. Vendo does not import the text of individual comments.

Instagram Posts

Vendo imports feed posts, reels and carousel items from each linked professional account.

The data includes captions, content type, publish date, public link, images, likes, comments, saves and shares. It also includes views and reach when Meta provides them.

Content Mapping

Vendo maps each Facebook and Instagram post to the Content Group type. You can use this Group in dashboards and models.

Vendo stores copies of post images in private Vendo storage. Dashboards use these copies after provider links expire.

Data Freshness

Vendo reads new posts on the configured Source schedule. Each run also refreshes 28 days of post performance.

Meta can retire a metric or omit it for a post. Vendo marks that metric as unavailable and keeps the other post data.

Setup

1. Open Data in Vendo.
2. Click Add app.
3. Select Facebook Pages & Instagram.
4. Sign in to Meta.
5. Grant access to the Pages and Instagram accounts that you want to use.
6. Select one or more Facebook Pages.
7. Save the Source.

Vendo finds the Instagram professional account linked to each selected Page. A Page can sync without a linked Instagram account.

Verify Setup

1. Confirm that the Source status is active.
2. Confirm that the first sync finishes.
3. Open Team Pulse and confirm that an organic post appears.
4. Open the data catalog and confirm that the Content Group contains the post.

Required Meta Access

Vendo asks Meta for read access to your Page list, Page content, Page insights, Instagram content and Instagram insights.

Meta also requires Page management and business management access for this app flow. Vendo does not publish or edit posts.
