Themes
Choose and customize the shared colors, fonts, cards, and chart palette used across your Vendo workspace.

Open Settings → Themes to manage the saved themes for your workspace. The Active column shows the workspace default.
Choose the active theme
Select the unchecked control in the Active column, then confirm the change. The active theme supplies the default presentation for supported workspace content.
Changing the active theme does not replace a Dashboard’s selected saved theme or its local style changes. You can open and edit those Dashboard styles separately.
Create or duplicate a theme
Select New theme to start from the active theme. Give the new theme a unique name, customize it, and save it. Creating a theme does not make it active automatically.
To copy an existing theme, open it and select … → Duplicate. The copy includes the current editor values, including changes that you have not saved to the original theme.
Edit a theme
Select … → Edit in the theme table. On the theme page, you can:
- Select a predefined heading and body font pair.
- Set page, title, text, card, border, accent, and comparison colors.
- Set the chart color palette.
- Set card borders and corner radius.
- Review sample Dashboard, Chart, and Document content in the live preview.
Select the theme title to rename it. Select Save to update the current theme. Saved style changes apply anywhere that uses that saved theme.
If another person or the Agent updates the same theme while you are editing, Vendo keeps your draft. It asks you to reload or duplicate the theme. This prevents an older edit from replacing a newer version.
Delete a theme
Open … → Delete from the theme table or editor. You cannot delete:
- The active theme.
- A system theme supplied by Vendo.
- The built-in Default theme.
Duplicate a system theme when you need a separate customer-owned version that can be deleted later.
Where themes apply
| Content | Theme behaviour |
|---|---|
| Dashboards | Can use a saved theme and keep Dashboard-specific style changes. |
| Vendo Documents | Inherit the active workspace theme. Typography changes the font family without changing heading levels or emphasis. |
| Standalone Charts | Use theme data colours and comparisons. Full font and card styling is not available yet. |
| Imported documents | Keep the presentation supplied by the source. |
Use themes with the Agent
The Vendo Agent can list and inspect saved themes, rename one, and update its existing color, font, card, and comparison settings. The Agent uses the same permissions and version checks as the Settings page.
Creating, activating, duplicating, and deleting themes remains in Settings → Themes.
Permissions
Workspace members with Dashboard write permission can create, rename, edit, activate, duplicate, and delete eligible themes. Members with read access can view the theme library and editor.
