Timeline
Record workspace decisions, experiments, and annotations in one dated feed, then filter and revisit the context behind changes.
Last reviewed July 13, 2026
Open Data → Timeline to maintain a dated record of manual decisions, experiments, and annotations for the active team workspace.
Current event types
| Type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Decision | What the team decided, why, owner, alternatives, and review date |
| Experiment | Hypothesis, variants, platform, success metric, dates, and result |
| Annotation | Product launches, external events, campaign context, or other dated notes |
Automatic ad-platform change events appear in the filter preferences but are not yet loaded into the current Timeline feed. Do not expect campaign changes to appear automatically until that pipeline is shipped.
Add an entry
- Open Timeline and select Add New.
- Choose Decision, Experiment, or Annotation.
- Enter the event date and required context.
- Add tags that will remain useful for filtering.
- Save and confirm the entry appears on the correct date.
Keep entries useful
- State a decision as an outcome, not only a discussion summary.
- Give an experiment a falsifiable hypothesis and one primary success metric.
- Use annotations for context that should not be mistaken for a decision.
- Update status and results when a decision is reviewed or an experiment concludes.
Filter the feed
Filter by recent date range and event type. Timeline preferences can also store visible event types and supported platform filters for the workspace.
